Asus TUF Gaming 2025 Repair and Data Recovery
Asus released two TUF Gaming models in 2025: FA808 and FX608. Three earlier models kept their numbers and changed inside. We repair them at component level and recover data from them, in London or by insured courier from anywhere in the UK.
TUF Gaming models released in 2025
The model number is on the label underneath the laptop, after the word MODEL. The letters that follow it, such as FA507NV, identify the exact version.

What is inside a 2025 TUF Gaming
- New at CES 2025: TUF Gaming A18 FA808 (Asus's first 18-inch TUF laptop) and F16 FX608; the A16 FA608 was refreshed. Platforms are Ryzen 7 260 / Ryzen 9 8940HX or Intel Core i7-14650HX / Core Ultra 9 275HX with RTX 5050 to RTX 5070 (RTX 5070 Ti on the A18).
- The 2025 A16, F16 and A18 all have two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots (single-sided SSDs only); unlike the 2024 FA608, the 2025 FA608 memory is socketed.
- Battery is 90Wh (70Wh on the lower FA608UMI/UHI configurations). Main chargers are 240W or 280W barrel-type, with USB-C power delivery supported (100W USB-C adapter).
- Refreshed: A14 FA401 with Ryzen AI 7 350 + RTX 5060 (FA401KM; 16GB LPDDR5X soldered, 73Wh). The F16 FX607 continued with Core 5 210H / Core 7 240H variants.

Data recovery from a 2025 TUF Gaming
When one of these laptops will not start, the files are usually still there. TUF Gaming laptops have two M.2 NVMe slots, so there may be a second SSD fitted. Tell us if there is, so that we recover the right one.
Windows 11 switches on device encryption on many of these laptops without asking. If the drive is encrypted we need the BitLocker recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.
