Asus ROG 2025 Repair and Data Recovery
Asus released five ROG models in 2025: GZ302, G615, G815, G635 and one more. Four earlier models kept their numbers and changed inside. We repair them at component level and recover data from them, in London or by insured courier from anywhere in the UK.
ROG models released in 2025
The model number is on the label underneath the laptop, after the word MODEL. The letters that follow it, such as GA402RJ, identify the exact version.

What is inside a 2025 ROG
- Intel Strix line renumbered: Strix G16 G615, G18 G815, Scar 16 G635 and Scar 18 G835 with Core Ultra 9 275HX + RTX 50 (up to RTX 5090 on Scar). The AMD Strix G16 and G18 are sold as G614 and G814 (2025) with Ryzen 9 8940HX / 9955HX / 9955HX3D + RTX 50, reusing the 2023 base numbers.
- 2025 Scar 16/18 have tool-less access to RAM, SSDs and fans, Q-Latch screwless M.2 retention, an end-to-end vapour chamber with tri-fan cooling and Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal, mini-LED panels and an AniMe Vision LED lid; two DDR5 SO-DIMM and two M.2 slots (RAID 0 on some configurations), two Thunderbolt 5 ports with power delivery and a 380W adapter.
- Flow Z13 GZ302 is a tablet built on AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with integrated Radeon 8060S and no discrete GPU: LPDDR5X soldered (shared between system and graphics), M.2 2230 SSD reachable from the back, two USB4 ports, 200W rectangular-connector adapter, stainless-steel/copper vapour chamber and liquid metal.
- Zephyrus G14 GA403 (2025: Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 + RTX 50) and G16 GU605 (2025: Core Ultra 9 285H + RTX 50) are refreshes of the 2024 chassis with soldered LPDDR5X, OLED panels and a 200W rectangular adapter plus USB-C PD.

Data recovery from a 2025 ROG
When one of these laptops will not start, the files are usually still there. ROG laptops use M.2 NVMe SSDs, and many have two or three slots. Some Strix Scar and Zephyrus models leave the factory with two SSDs striped in RAID 0, which splits every file across both drives. With those we need both SSDs to recover anything.
Windows 11 switches on device encryption on many of these laptops without asking. If the drive is encrypted we need the BitLocker recovery key, which is normally saved in your Microsoft account.

Yes. We collect by insured courier from anywhere in the UK and send the laptop back the same way.
My ROG is not in the 2025 list. Can you repair it?
Almost certainly. The tables cover the models we see most. Call 020 7394 2521 with the model number from the label underneath.
Can you recover my files if the laptop will not turn on?
In most cases, yes. The SSDs in a ROG laptop can be removed and read directly. If it has two SSDs in RAID 0, we need both. The first look is free.
